Everything keeps working except reading new screenshots. Your stash, search and the d2jsp panel are all still there.
Fix it on the card, at no cost. Click a line to retype it — the name, the base type and every stat line are edited where they are shown — or set the quality right on the card. Reading the same screenshot again costs another credit, because it is another read.
It is built for the tooltip Diablo II: Resurrected draws at its own settings. A mod that restyles the tooltip, an overlay across it, a client in another language or heavy scaling can make a read come back wrong. That is what the free credits are for: you will know within a few screenshots, before you have paid for anything.

On Stripe's own checkout page, charged once in US dollars. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach us, and the credits are on your account within moments of the payment completing.
Unused credits aren't refundable, because they never expire. If a payment goes through and the credits don't arrive, that is ours to fix and you don't have to argue for it.
A read is final once it returns a result. If something on a card came back wrong, edit it by hand at no cost. And if something has genuinely gone wrong, tell us: credits we add as a gesture have no cash value. The full policy is in the terms.
Yes. Once your email is verified, your account page has an invite link. Someone who signs up with it gets 10% extra credits on their first purchase, and you get 10% of the credits in every pack they buy. The details are in the terms.
Your credits belong to your account, so they are there wherever you sign in. Your stash lives in the browser you use, with a backup kept on your account: install the extension on the new computer, connect it, and restore the backup from Settings.
